I have been practising as a sonographer since 1994. I was a sonographer and echocardiographer in the Philippines before I worked as an Obstetrics and Gynaecology Sonographer in the Middle East in 1997 and later on, as a Non-Invasive Cardiac Technologist for five years at one of the most prestigious private hospitals in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia — the Dr. Erfan and Bagedo Hospital (Jeddah Heart Institute). I also worked in various independent Health Management Organisations.

I worked  as an autonomous Advanced Practitioner Sonographer at Addenbrookes NHS Trust, Cambridge University Hospitals from 2003 to 2014 .

Since I left my full time post with Addenbrookes NHS Trust, I am working  as a part time Locum Sonographer  in other NHS hospitals and GP Surgeries  around East Anglia , where I am practicing  Obstetrics, Gynecology and Abdominal  ultrasound scanning  and teaching student Sonographers.

From January to August  2018, I was working as permanent part-time Sonographer with Northwest Anglia NHS Trust.

With more than two decades of extensive experience in sonography tucked under my belt, I keep myself updated with the latest developments in Abdominal, Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Early Pregnancy ,4D scanning ,latest technology in Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing and Phlebotomy by attending numerous conferences and training  across the United Kingdom and abroad.

My passion is foetal ultrasonography – an area that requires a great deal of technical skill and compassion when dealing with breaking bad news. However, most of the time  it brings a huge amount of joy. Being a mother myself, sharing magical moments with expectant parents is a reward of my job that I would always cherish.
