Vascular Ultrasound Scans are a safe, non-invasive and invaluable imaging modality that will detect circulation issues involving the arteries, veins or both systems in the body. Arterial and venous insufficiency results in abnormal blood flow and function of the brain, organs and limbs.

Most of the time, the symptoms of blocked arteries or veins are not noticeable. Getting the appropriate referral and timely assessment is not always possible. This scan does not require any preparation. It is advised that the patients are examined when they are rested, without having exercised before. Throughout the scan, you will be in a supine or standing position.
