Scans for Men

Groin, testes and scrotal ultrasound is a form of diagnostic ultrasound that uses sound waves above the frequency range your ears can detect, to produce an image from inside your body. The sound waves emanate from a handheld device called a transducer. They bounce off the testicle structures inside your scrotum and groin area, returning to the transducer, which transfers them to a computer, which creates black-and-white live images. A medical report and images are sent to you electronically after your appointment. In case of concerning findings, we will request your consent to sent ourselves your report to your GP to assist you in fast-tracking any needed medical management.
