When Ultrasound meets Opera

Today’s Google Doodle is celebrating Afro-British composer, teacher and opera singer Amanda Aldridge.

And not for an insignificant reason! On this day in 1911, Aldridge gave a piano recital at London’s pre-war principal concert venue, Queens Small Hall, the original home of the BBC Symphony and London Philharmonic Orchestras.

But would you be interested to know the fascinating ways in which Opera meets Ultrasound?

If your answer is positive click on the following link to get the insight into a talk between Jun Takahashi, a tenor and Professor Kentaro Nakamura, who conducts cutting-edge research on ultrasound to unravel the potential of sound!
